Graphics & Printing Technology

This program is a two-year exploratory program that gives students a hands-on approach to the Digital Design and Print industries of the world. Printing Technology has a vast variety of new, exciting and high-demand careers to choose from, and many students will find the perfect fit. First-year students are exposed to all aspects of the industry as they develop skills in designing and producing printed products. Second-year students participate in a self-paced study of specialized and more advanced graphic processes all while utilizing the most up-to-date software and equipment for real industry experiences. The Graphic & Printing Technology program (GPT) is designed to provide hands-on instruction in Graphic Layout and Design, Photography, Apparel Decorating, Digital/Offset Printing, Customer Service, Teamwork and Problem solving. The Graphics & Printing Technology program also offers these Industry certifications for Second year students: Print & Digital Media Publication Using Adobe InDesign, Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop, Graphic Design & Illustration Using Adobe Illustrator, as well as becoming an ASPA Certified Screen Printer.
