CNST 100 - Construction Basics

Construction Basics is 9 weeks and consists of 63 hours. This course introduces students to the
residential construction industry providing the basic foundation for entry-level
employment. Safety will be at the forefront of all units of instruction. After learning the 17
proper uses of hand and power tools, students will spend much of the course working on
carpentry while being exposed to concepts in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other
specialized areas.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will earn an OSHA 10-Hour Training
Certificate as well as a Meceola Tech Certificate of Completion.
